A mighty day's adventure!
Climbed a Cogne classic 'Patri Classica' today in stunning conditions. A multi-pitch ice climbing route in the Valnontey Valley. Ice was interesting, route was terrific, scenery was mind blowing!!
Got chatting with Andreas, a guide operating out of Chamonix who was guiding a client up the same route as us, and got some useful climbing tips. Thank you : )
Last time we climbed Patri was February 2016 again in great conditions.
Got a few more days out here so fingers crossed : )
